WOULD LOOK GREAT ON DISPLAY IN YOUR BATHROOM AND OF COURSE USEFUL TOO. Huckaback weave is characterised by its 'honeycomb' texture and has been used since the Middle Ages. It's purpose is to add greater volume to linen fabric, thus enhancing its drying abilities. Interestingly, huckaback towels pre-date our modern terry cloth towels, which made their debut in the late 19th century. WONDERFUL ANTIQUE LINEN, SUPERB QUALITY AND RARE TO FIND.
