Antique Encrier Inkwell signed by A. Bossu, with 2 fountain pens!! One is an A. A. Waterman & Co. "The Modern" The other is a Spencerian Subway Stub, I couldn't tell you a thing about the condition. They both look in pretty nice shape.France, late 1800'sA goat or impala highlights this charming French patinated spelter inkwell (or encrier) by French Animalier A. Bossu. This finely detailed inkwell is fitted with two ink pots with hinged lids above a rocaille molded base.The inkwell (encrier) is in flawless condition with a wonderful dark brown patina. To find an antique inkwell so beautifully preserved is extraordinary.
