2 Antique Japanese Arita Bowls Plates Phoenix Bird Koi Description: Two Antique Japanese Arita Porcelain Shallow Bowls / plates All hand painted with decorations featuring stylized phoenix birds, florals and geometric designs Central blue and white scene shows a koi leaping out of the water Trimmed in gold with gold accents in the painting Underside is also decorated with blue stylized motifs Marked as shown in blue on the bottom with four distinct Japanese marks; I believe these are late 19th or early 20th C Arita marks, but this type of porcelain is not our forte. Measurements: Approx 4 3/4" in diameter approx 1 1/8" high Condition: Both are in excellent condition Typical light wear to the gold trim and accents No chips, cracks or repairs Top bidder gets the pair $9.95 Start Price with No Reserve!!
