ANTIQUE KESTNER 15410" DOLL Early Kestner 10" doll. She has a bisque shoulder head and bisque hands. Her body is kid with cloth feet. Her sleep eyes are blue and she has an open mouth with teeth. There is a light blush to her cheeks. She has a Kestner stamp on her chest (photo 6). She is wearing a pink and white lace nightgown with little rosebud accents. Her brown wig is a replacement (original pate and wig are included--see description below). Marked on back of her head "4 1/2/0 154 dep 8 1/2/0." There is also what looks like "OO" stamped on her back.Please enlarge the photos and check them over carefully as they are the main part of the condition description. Her kid body is stiff, so she will need to be in a stand to be displayed. Photo 7 shows the silk tape repair at the top of one arm. Both arms have the same repair (we can only use 12 photos, so that is why we showed just 1). Her feet turn in. What we believe is her original pate and what is left of the wig attached are shown in photo 12. You can see why we gave her a new wig. The new wig is not glued down, and we will include both wigs in the sale. Her nightgown is not original to her. It is about 25 years old and in nice condition. We will stuff her head for shipping.This is the first antique doll we have listed in quite awhile, although they are one of our favorite items
