Today, we are offering a really nice antique bottle from New Jersey. It is clear glass (thick), measures 7" tall and 2 3/8" across on the bottom. Shows the mold lines up each side, but not on the neck. Top opening gets thicker at very top where the cork went. Front reads: "EMELIO GRANDI KINGSTON N.J. in round "slug" and REGISTERED across the bottom .(EMELIO on the bottle is actually a misspelling of Emilio---a bottle manufacturer's mistake I assume) Emilio Grandi immigrated from Italy in 1895 and operated a short lived bottling company there in late 1800's)----Go to and read his whole story ( Google New Jersey Bottle Forum). Back reads: THIS BOTTLE NOT TO BE SOLD across the bottom. Bottom of the bottle has the # 218. All writing is embossed in the glass, which does have some bubbles in it. This bottle is in almost mint condition- could use a good cleaning (I couldn't get the inside any cleaner). This is a highly collectable bottle and this example is nearly MINT!! Has 1 tiny fleck on one side that is almost invisible, but that is all! Thanks and
