Antique rocking baby cradle. It is in wonderful condition considering it's age. Late 1800's, I am not sure of the type of wood it is made from. Sorry the pic's are a little crowded as it is located in my antique shop in Perryopolis,Pa. Measures from the floor to the top of the headboard 31". 20-1/4" wide headboard. 21-1/4" accross the frame legs. Wood slats where you would place the mattress. If you would look uo underneath the cradle you can see the mechanism that holds the workings that make it rock back and forth. I could not flip it over in fear of damaging it. You will really be pleased with it's condition. The cabin is the first two story log cabin built in Pa. It is packed with goodies-if you see something else you like I will list it on ebay and sell to you.There is also a wonderful Inn down the road to stay at while on your pick up. Some items can be delivered for a fee depending on location.I was just informed yesterday by a kind gentleman that there is to be a crank with this-if I can locate the man from where I purchased it I will see if he has it-the spring mechanism where you turn the crank turns tight. I am looking for a crank also. Bookmark my store as I add itmes daily. Happy to combine s/c on items that are shipable. Payment must be made upon winning the auction. Pick up within two weeks of purchase.
