Antique Ludwig Greiner ? Doll Large 40" with reproduction arms and reproduction clothes...Here is the history that I know about the doll-I bought her at a antique store years ago..her arms were deteriorated pretty bad and leaking sawdust..beyond repair..so I bought her intending to repair her which I finally got around to today..I believe she is a Ludwig Greiner but she has no label so..thats up to you to decide but she for sure is Antique..her body is stuffed with sawdust..has couple stains shown on her body..left leg has few tiny holes but no leakage..I replaced her arms with a Ludwig reproduction classic stamps dolls arms/so those are cotton stuffed..and I toke the clothes off the reproduction ludwig doll and put them on her..fits nicely..the red dress has a little fading.. her shoulder plate area by where the holes are has couple tiny cracks/shown..face and hair has some wear but overall I think shes fabulous..doll is large and heavy-she weighs a little over 8 pounds. she has a little bit of blackness on her body as her dress was on so long and her dress was black-it was so old and fragile it just shreadded so she had to be redressed- Museum quality doll! very low price to start..
