ANTIQUEMAJOLICA ART POTTERYWATER POND LILY WITH STORK - CRANEFOOTED COMPOTE - CAKE STAND PLATEI SHIP WORLDWIDEINCLUDING CHINA AND RUSSIA Offered in this sale is an antique Majolica art pottery footed cake plate or compote molded with a water lily on the top and a three dimensional stork or crane on the side of the stem bending over to get worm on the side on base (see 2nd image). It measures roughly 6 1/4" tall x 10" in diameter at its widest. I do not know if this is English or American majolica. It has a couple of under glaze painted letters on the underside of the base - one of which is an A - otherwise, it is not marked. The condition is excellent. There are no chips, cracks, flakes, hairlines or restoration. Please be sure to enlarge and zoom each image for a close up view of the detail and the condition.
