Selling a beautiful antique majolica tobacco jar, modeled as a bulldog in a green hat who is smoking a cigar, likely Austrian and dating to the 1890s. Wonderful details in the glaze work on this piece, and the bottom is impressed with several numbers. He measures 4 "" tall, and is in very good condition, with no chips, hairlines, stains, scratches, or restoration. The only apology is a tiny glaze flake on the edge of his hat, which is hard to notice because the clay in that particular spot is also green. This is a great humidor to add to your collection!
