This is a superb example of a Majolica "Pond Lily" Comport dating from circa. 1880. The comport is decorated with a relief moulding of pond lily leaves and a central lily flower, ... then finished in a rich glaze typical of majolica wares. The comport is in perfect original condition. T are no cracks or chips. No repairs. Diameter : 8.7 ins. / 22.2 cms. Height : 2.1 ins. / 5.2 cms.
