WONDERFUL 1/2L Antique Mettlach #1662 Etched Tapestry German Beer Stein with a Pewter! Dated 1885! The Body Features an Etched Scene of a Carpenter on a Raised Panel (Tapestry) and t is a Short German Phrase on a Raised Banner in the Rear! The Base is Incised Marked With the Mettlach Abbey or Castle Mark that Says "VB" for Villeroy and Boch, the Form Number "1662", "Geschutzt", "II" and 85 (the Mettlach Date Code for the Year it was Made "1885")! T is a Faint Line Below the Handle that is Visable on the Inside (but too faint to Photograph) and this Fantastic Stien is Otherwise EXCELLENT! Best of All T is No RESERVE !!!
