is a darling little, old splint basket with fine workmanship. It is 3 1/4" high, 4" across the top and 2 1/2" across the bottom. The bottom is raised just as it should be. The wrapping on the rim is perfect. It may have had one or two handles at some time. T is some minor evidence of that on one side but nothing on the other. The splints are 1/8" and 3/8". T is one tiny spot of missing splint as shown in the photo and two other areas w one tiny portion of the splint is broken, one is shown in the photo, the other is too indistinct to show. It is varnished on the outside but just old patina on the inside. It is slightly out of "round" after all these years. It is just a charming miniature basket and one that should be a great addition to any collection.
