You are bidding on a Majolica Minton toby jug of a lady holding a fan. The colors on this toby jug are vibrant and really stand out. Made in 1871. You are buying this piece "As Is". The repairs have been done pretty well and are ready for paint and glaze. The handle has been repaired in two places. The spout has two repairs, and the base had a chip which has been repaired also. Heavy for its size it weighs almost 3 pounds. She stands 11' tall., 4" wide and 5" deep from front to back of handle. I do not see any more chips or cracks. Impressed Minton on the bottom with maker and date stamp. (Please see photo).Beautiful Minton toby and pretty hard to find. This would make a great addition to any collection.
