ANTIQUE OLD MINTONS POTTERY PEASANT WOMAN TOBY JUG 29 CM (11 1/2")HIGH X 1 3CM (5")WIDE AP PROX. INC. HANDLE stamped mark under the base with BLACK GLOBE WITH CROWN MARK 1912-50 (one of the earlier laurel leaf stamps with ENGLAND underneath) AND '18 th Cent, Staffordshire Salt Glaze' This piece would have been made closer to 1912 than 1950 A very collectable good size Minton Pottery Toby Jug modelled as a peasant woman with shawl and fan, with hair forming the handle to the back and a hat forming a spout. A lovely piece. AND
