Antique Minton Parian Figure “ANGEL AT ANNUNCIATION” c1849 Stunning Minton Parian figure of The ANGEL AT ANNUNCIATION of exquisite quality. The figure stands 12.25 inches high on a base 5 inches across. The modelling is superb, the wings showing every feather, the hands beautiful and crisp. The Parian quality is second to none. The condition is excellent and is without chips, cracks, firing flaws, restoration or repair. A similar figure can be seen in the Parian Phenomenon page 73 fig 107. The figure has the Minton ermine mark incised and the date for 1849. I have also listed the companion figure Virgin at Annunciation.
