Antique oak case crank wall phone, made by Western Electric. Oak case is in very good condition, showing little wear, holes at 4 corners with brass, for hanging, groove down back plate for wiring, crack in wood at bottom left corner, someone has modified the bottom interior and added a new plate with works and a bell, that is dated 12-68, so it can be used (since t isn't a dailer, it can only be used for receiving calls, or talking on it, after dialing out from another telepone on the same line), mouthpiece has a small plate on the front with "Western Electric Company 329W" on it, very light surface wear/pitting to the silver mouthpiece, and the silver piece that the earpiece hands from, earpiece is in very good condition with no cracks or marks, and cord for earpiece is in good condition, when the side crank is turned the interior top bells ring, the wood piece on the side crank has a small piece missing from it (it can be seen in photo), top interior mechanism is marked "Western Electric Company", t is a phone cord coming out of the back of the piece, but someone cut it, but I do have the remainder that was cut off, with a 4 prong plug at the end, the underside of the exterior has a sales sticker that was attached with adhesive, I tried to peel it off at the corner and it is leaving a mark on the wood, so I am leaving it t for read more
