This is a very vintage 1920's era Winnebago County, Wisconsin "Road Patrolman" badge. This badge was used by Winnebago County traffic enforcement personnel before the advent of the sheriff's department. Traffic enforcement came under the direction of the Highway Commission at the time. Badge is in original condition, nickel plated, with original saddle pin. Badge is 2" by 2".
