An amazing original horse oil painting on canvas board by Fred Sitzler affixed to a leather coated cigar box. The piece was most likely done as a commissioned piece for the owner of the horse. Fred Sitzler is most known for his painting of horse and dogs and this is a wonderful example of one of his most sought after subjects. The horse is well painted in portrait against a flat background. The painting makes a nice addition to the cigar box and would look wonderful in anyone's study or in the home of a sitzler collector.
