Antique Planitarium Illustration Scientific 1800s Early 19th century bookplate of a Planitarium. Probably from an encyclopedia of the time period. These instruments, when found, are very very expensive to purchase. A great item to frame and put on a Gentleman's wall in the study or near that favorite instrument. A few spots, but overall nice and appropriate for it's age. Engraved by C. Tiebout ("C. Tiebout SC" noted lower right). Plate number CVIII upper right. Measures approximately 10 3/8 by 8 inches.
