This is one of two fireplace cranes I have listed for auction. This crane measures 29" inches high X 45" arm. This was designed for inside fireplace wall attachment. A large 5/8 " or 3/4 " " I " bolt works well for attachment. I bought these in 1982 from an Ohio picker to use in restoring my 1855 central Illiniois brick Federal. I opted out of this with gas Vermont Casting gas stoves. Smart move. I had collected a lot of fireplace items and never used them. Most of this stuff has been sitting in my garage, basement and out building. Its time to go. I have no idea on the age. I am thinking they are early 19th century eastern. I spent nearly two years looking for these. If only Ebay was available then. This will most likely be shipped UPS. I will wrap them in stretch wrap tape to save on shipping costs.
