This fabulous antique book is in great condition with a lighter red embossed cover with gorgeous gilt floral design on the front cover and spine. The edges of the pages are done in gilt as well. The spine is titled Shakespeare Illustrated and Worthington. The title page says Shakspeare's (SP) Complete Works from the text of Johnson and Stevens. with a complete glossary. Illustrated, New York R. Worthington 1881. The second page is missing having been cut out but the rest of the book is fabulous for a book that dates back to 1881. This book is published by Worthington, New York. There's an Account of the Life of William Shakspeare: written by Mr. Rowe. The plays begin with the Tempest and ends with Othello for a total of 1062 pages.
