This is one of the most elegant and detailed lace styles of antique lace in my personal opinion. I rarely come across it, and am intrigued by the tiny details and regal appearance. I believe it is called Reticella and it is handmade. This lace is quite old, c1800s, and it does have some innt age soilage that looks like rust to me. Since this is cotton , it may soak out if that is ones desire. I do not clean my antique laces as most buyers do not want the "history" washed off---it is a sure sign of authenticity :) 2 1/2" wide and 24" long. Perfect for trimming out authentic era dolls clothing!
