Up for sale is this beautiful Victorian era (circa 1880's) bride's basket. The impressive Webb style satin "mother of pearl" glass bowl shades from light rose to deep rose at the top of the bowl. It measures 9.5" wide and 4.75" tall. The colors are breathtaking. The interior of the bowl is white.The silverplated frame is equally as grand. It has a Derby hallmark and is marked #1215 and quadruple plate. It features a cherub on each side of the handle. The silverplate is in very good condition. It appears to have had a "gold wash" at the base of the frame. One side of the base bears an ornate engraved monogram as shown. When the bowl is fitted into its proper place in the basket, the total assembled height is approximately 13 1/2 inches!The Webb style brides bowl and frame are in very good condition. The bowl has no chips, nicks or cracks. This is an absolutely beuatiful addition to your bride's bowl collection.Please include the pictures as part of the description.
