An ex-voto is a votive offering to a saint or divinity. It is given in fulfillment of a vow (hence the Latin term, short for ex voto suscepto , "from the vow made") or in gratitude or devotion. This antique Ex Voto, is one of a collection on consignment for auction from a private collector in Peru. Ex-votos are placed in a church or chapel w the worshipper seeks grace or wishes to give thanks . This rare silver and bronze Sacred Heart ex voto milagro, has two swords embeded in a bleading heart, a torch of flames on top of the heart,all this are made in bronze . It has 11" inches diameter.
