Here we have a ultimately RARE and very hard to find chalkware statue of Saint Brigid of Kildare,Ireland.Read some about Saint Brigid of Kildare, Ireland in the pics.One of many things attributed to this wonderful saint is that she was said to have been able to talk to cows and that the cows would gladly give their milk to her.Note the cow at her feet on the base of the statue.I will ship to Ireland and internationally if you are devoted to Saint Brigid and really want her,just ask for a quote.Chances are,you may never see a chalkware statue of Saint Brigid again.I've been doing this for three years now and I never have.If you collect religious statues of saints,THIS will surely complete your collection! Note the Saint Brigid's cross on the Holy book she is holding.Read about Saint Brigid's cross in the pics. Saint Brigid has some paint chips here and there,a ding on her nose bridge,a paint chip on her nose tip,one of the cow's ears has a ding on the edge of the ear,otherwise,no breakages.A little flat black paint will touch up the paint chips on her black vestments. She measures 1 foot tall (16 1/2 inches).Base measures 5 1/2 inches across the front & x 4 inches front to back of base. 5 inches across from elbow to elbow.
