ANTIQUE SILVER BOOK MARK/LETTER OPENER. Hallmarked London 1891, maker's mark for William Comyns & Sons, an important firm of manufacturing silversmiths in it's time. Shaped like a letter opener but having a decorative end of a woman holding a sheath of wheat enabling it to also be used as a book mark. In very good order for it's age with no splits or cracks.
