Purchased at an Estate Sale tucked away in the attic; it is an early 1937 ROYAL portable typewriter. It is in wonderful condition and is complete with the case, the Certificate of Guarantee, and the original place chart for the touch system, as well as the business card of the seller, Max J. Schlosser, Royal Typewriter Company Inc. Rochester, NY. It is in excellent condition. It appears brand new and very lightly used. The case is also very good with some light wear. There is a ribbon and I did use the typewriter. The keys do work except the "b" key does stick. It may need some adjusting and it probably should have a cleaning.
