Antique Silver Vase shaped Caster by Thomas Bamford hallmarked London 1728. With beautiful chased foliate decoration. This is a quality heavy piece of very old silver, displays beautifully. Measures 4.5 inches tall (11.5cm). Heavy piece of silver. Thomas Bamford was a specialist caster/sifter maker and made very good quality expensive pieces. Assayed with Kings head for London, Lion Mark and capital "N" in a shield for 1728. TB in oval for Thomas Bamford,registered as a London silversmith in 1720. In lovely condition. Purchased by me at a Westcountry Auction House and I paid a good price but I have decided to reorganise my collection and make some space so I am selling some items. Genuine antique solid silver. Please look at pictures carefully to appreciate this item condition. Remember, this is an antique so isnt perfect but this is very close!
