This listing is for a handsome but unusual metal depicting of St. Joseph. He is standing at his carpenter's desk with his head ringed by a halo. The base of one side is marked No. 400J in the left corner and St. Joseph in the right corner. Both sides of the piece have different details, so I believe this was originally attached to something else - perhaps as a bookend or andiron. There is a single screw hole at the base, but nothing at the top for hanging, though this would make a great wall hanger for a carpenter. There is minor wear to the black finish, but overall this is in good condition. Measures 11" tall and 6 1/2" wide.
