This is a NO Reserve Auction for an vintage estate purchased antique child's cup. It is marked on the bottom St. Louis Silver Co., Quadruple (plate) 26. The cup has a very ornate handle and is decorated all around the center section with Palmer Cox Brownie Figures. I am guessing this piece to be early 1900's. This piece could even be from the 1904 St. Louis World's Fair. It measures 3" deep not counting the top loop of the handle. The cup is in good condition. It has been used and shows wear. It was pitch black when I purchased it and I polished it with a jeweler's cloth to get as much of the black off as I could without using a silver cleaner. Some sort of polish has been used on it at some time as t is some dried remains in the creases and t Quadruple plate or not, some of the silver coating is actually worn off. T is a small indent on the top rim. As alway, will gladly combine any purchases for better shipping rates.
