This is a very impressive antique (Victorian era to Edwardian era 1890's to 1910 c) heavy dome shaped ring . Originally for a man but could also be for a lady. Made of sterling silver. Has very impressive smith workmanship and well deeply etched detail with interesting cross knot design. Width of front is nearly 3/4". From front to back, it measures: alittle over 1 1/8 inches. Upper shank width is alittle over 1/4 inch and back shank width is 1/4 inch. Dome shaped rings draw much attraction to one's hand. Ring looks impressive on most fingers (great pinky ring for guy). Ring is a size 8 but consider that right hand fingers tend to be alittle thicker than left hand fingers, (same principle applies in case left handed). It's heavy. Weighs: 9.5 grams. In excellent condition. Would make a nice gift. Or, own it for yourself and invest in this impressive ring and appreciate the compliments you'll get as it's antiquity value continues to increase even more so over time.
