Up for auction is this newly made antique style civil war dress and bonnet for a 16" to 18" china head doll, the doll modelling the dress is not included. Any other style doll can wear this dress if the measurements are right. I made this dress from a beautiful cotton material. Lots of fabric was used to make the bottom very full just like in civil war times. I used an elegant trim around the neck and the upper sleeves. There are two snaps on the back for closure. The bonnet matches the dress and has lace around it and a ribbon for tying. The neat thing about this bonnet is that if you don't want to use it for a bonnet you can turn it upside down and use it for a basket for your doll to put flowers in it or whatever you want. This dress comes from a smoke free home. The measurements of this dress are: from shoulder to the bottom of the sleeve it is 5", from underarm to underarm straight across it is 5" and the full length is 15.5".
