Beautiful Indian wootz bladed tulwar. Very fine blade with tight Indian dendritic wootz pattern. Unknown gold inlaid inscriptions. Well proportioned old steel tulwar style hilt, with remains of silver gilding. Hilt is purposefully canted pommel-forward, to aid in use. Fascinatingly, blade shows clear evidence of being made from two billets, yet almost no patterning is lost. This is one of the most lively, smooth swords I have owned. Feels great. Excellent condition overall. Silky smooth old patina with few pits. Lovely wootz. Measures approx. 31 inches in a straight line from tip to pommel. Weighs 1 pound, 12 oz. Cannot ship blades to Italy, sorry. Paypal, checks, or money orders accepted. Credit cards only acceptable through Paypal.
