3 Antique Tongzhi Mark & Period Famille Rose & Celadon Pedestal Bowls An unusual set of three small pedestal bowls, decorated in famille rose & gilt enamels on a green celadon ground. Each bowl has a four character Tongzhi reign mark (1862-1874) on the base, inside the high foot. The bowls are approximately 9 cm (3 1/2”) in diameter and 3.2 cm (1 1/4”) high. The dishes are in very good condition, one dish has a tiny chip on the underside of the rim and the other two are perfect, no chips, cracks, or restoration – Minor wear to the enamels and gilding. In my opinion, the bowls have Tongzhi marks and date to the period, circa 1862-1874 – Please form your own opinion before bidding.
