I hope someone gets this and restores it. It is marked in the seat F. Vela Floresville, TX F. Vela saddles were made from 1920 until his death in 1952. He worked for the L. Frank Saddlery during the Spanish American War. I am selling this as a wall hanger decoration or a winter restoration project, although except for the stirrup leathers, it is plenty usable. Both stirrup leathers need replacing especially the left one. It has a 13+ inch hard seat 2 ½ deep. The horn is 2 inches across and 3 inches tall. The cantle stands 2 ½ inches tall. It has a double rounded skirt 23 and 25 inches. The gullets is 7 ½ inches measuring concho to concho. Tin lined oak stirrups. The horn and tree are solid but the fleece is in poor condition.
