Beautifully Restored Antique Victorian Dome Trunk Chest Antique trunks are one of rare beauty. We have restored over 50 of these treasures and find that each one has it's own uniqueness. A trunk is a wonderful addition to any room in the house. These are a wonderful piece to pass on to the next generation with many memories. This particular trunk has had all of the wood refinished. It is a pine trunk with decorative metal and oak slats. The small cracks in the wood are caused by age and add character to the trunk. All of the old metal has been repainted. The black was painted with a semi-gloss rustoleum and the gold with a gold leaf semi-gloss. The trunk has had new leather handles put on. The hinges work great and it does come with the working lock and key. The size of the trunk is: 14 " width, 26" length, 17 1/2" heighth.
