This listing is for an antique or vintage 1927 Rookwood pottery vase. It measures 7 1/4" tall with a base diameter of 3 1/4". Elegant and lovely matte blue turquoise glaze color with very faint stripes of shading on the neck. Marked on the bottom with the classic Rookwood logo along with XXVII denoting that it was made in 1927, two years before the stock market crash as America would soon be approaching the Great Depression. This piece also comes with the finishers dot mark located to the right of the logo, which is something not often seen. The placement indicates that the finisher on this particular piece was Albersman. Please note that Rookwood finishers are not to be confused with Rookwood artists and designers. One small pin sized glaze pop near the base which is pictured. A very minor blemish that is hardly seen.
