ANTIQUE / VINTAGE RUGGED CAMP-STYLE 1930s WOOL & VELVET HANDMADE PATCHWORK CROSS TIED QUILT measures 74" x 69". Larger patchwork squares are 8" to 9", inside are patchwork crosses, constructed of smaller squares in brown, blue, & black wool, surrounding a cream-colored velvet center square. Pattern is divided by cream-colored textured fabric, quilt is tied with blue yarn, back & edges are strong plaid fabrics in red, blues, & greys. Quilt has light wear along edges, with some fraying & tiny holes, the brown wool squares have some tears & small holes, this wool has a wide tweedy-like weave which would probably tear easier than the others. Squares have about 6-8 undone seams, a small tear here & there. Quilt looks to have been completely hand-stitched, including edges, it's clean & very strong, it looks like it was laundered. If you're a fan of antique primitive, rustic camp or cabin style in a classic quilt pattern, this is a great quilt to use & love, & a great old quilt to display. NO RESERVE. Thank you for looking.
