This is a VERY high quality braided Rawhide martingale. It goes around a horse neck .. sort of a large horse necklace. Purely decorative. Used by Charros, the elite Mexican horsemen. It is about 35 inches long and in perfect condition. Look at the very fine detail work! Hard to date, looks to be pre-WWII and could be older, maybe into the 20s... but never used. It came out a old California collection. I've also listed a bridle and hackamore made by the same person. Try to get them all and keep the set together.. . . I sell all my listings WITHOUT a RESERVE. Payment is due within 9 days or I may re-list the piece!
