Instrument is either sterling silver or sterling silver plated If it is plated - is a good plating as it has not worn anyw I can see I lean towards plated - seems silver would be to soft for such a thing by itself but I don't know - just a guess Engraved on horn logo Cavalier - Elkhart, Ind. Made in USA I know nothing about this instrument but had someone look at it who does and said things seemed to be in good working order and if any repairs were needed it would be very minor. T is also number on it which I understand can tell the exact year - 47314 - am told most probably 1920's or 30's It is 23 1/2" long in case they are not all same length This item does not include the case - we only have the clarinet itself.
