Antique Vintage Unmarked, Probably Mail Order Slick Fork Saddle - Circa 1880s Description Here is a Vintage Half Seat Slick Fork Saddle Circa 1880s. This saddle is not marked, but looks to be a better quality mail order saddle. This half seat saddle is double rigged, with side and rear jockeys. The seat is one piece with a "Cheyenne Roll Cantle". The stirrups are leather, with 'Sam Stagg Rigging' and measure 1 1/2 inches wide. The saddle measures 27 inches long and is in fine condition, but shows a lot of cowboy use. One stirrup leather should be replaced, but the leather on the cinch rings is present, which is very unusual. Please take a look at the following photos for a better idea of condition and description before you bid. Contact us with any questions or for additional information.
