These beautiful shakers were made by the Mt. Washington Glass Company and decorated by C.F. Monroe in a rare russet color with hand painted and enameled polychrome flowers. These shakers have their original two-part lids that screw on and off easily. One of the metal rims has a small dent. These satin ware Mt Washington Erie twist (aka Helmschmeid swirl) blanks were made between 1892 and 1900. They measure 2 ¼" tall and 1 "" across the base. The glass is damage and repair free and the enamel has little to no wear. It's unusual to find a matching pair in such nice condition. Please message me if you have any questions. Thank you for looking.
