This is a superb example of an antique Wedgwood Majolica Pottery "Leaf" Comport, .. dating from circa. 1880. The comport is decorated with a relief moulding of a large leaf, ... against a basket-weave background, ... then finished in a rich glaze typical of majolica wares. The comport is in very good condition. T are no cracks or chips. No repairs. Top diameter : 8.0 ins. / 20.4 cms. Height : 1.8 ins. / 4.8 cms.
