Obtained from an Arkansas estate auction...These are two beautifully ornate Weidlich Brothers Salt & Pepper Shakers. They were made by Weidlich Brothers Manufacturing Company (W.B. Mfg. Co.) out of Bridgeport, CT USA. The company was in business from 1901 - 1950. They stand approx. 3 1/2" tall and are approx. 2" wide. They are completely covered with a floral pattern and are heavy for their size. I have not tried to clean them, so t is some tarnish. I have not found damage of any kind on either of them. They are more gold than silver in appearance and the lids screw off. T is a mark on the bottom of both that reads "W.B. Mfg. Co." and "C-102" (which I have tried to show in the photo).
