Wilken Space Collection. APOLLO 9 Flown Kapton Foil Display Includes: Piece of Flown Kapton Foil 1 1/8 "x 7/8" Approximately from Command Module CM/104 Gumdrop in custom acrylic display 3 1/2" X 5 1/2" X 11/16" Thick ( Kapton foil is high quality, partialy doubled and has brilliant iridescent silver reflective side with heat stress and brilliant gold adhesive side with pieces of the thermal paint that coated the heatshield). See picture of Jerry Wilken in North American Rockwell article photo, picture of test team on scafold prying on command module-103, JBW peering in to CM-101 cockpit, and Post Flight Test Team. Certification of Authenticity from the Wilken family will accompany item #-0 Flown Foils are guaranteed genuine and collected by Jerald B. Wilken and offered by the Wilken Family. Jerry Wilken worked for Space Division of NORTH AMERICAN ROCKWELL CORP. Starting in 1962 as an Associate Test Engineer and from 1967 to 1969 was assigned as test conductor for Apollo Post Flight Operations. Certified Limited Edition Foil Displays designed and created by hand by Robert Wilken.
