Original2 page letter without the envelope.Written to Jimmie from cousin Ema, I think.Dated April 5, 1864 and written from a female student who was studying at the Warrenton Female College in Warrenton, North Carolina located in Warren County, NC.Mentions alone...wrote to mama and told her to send you...session is half over...send me a box...Mr. Granger will bring it...brother has struggled two months...etc. Doesn't mention any war content only normal home news. Part of the letter is written light but legible.
