Small Marble Luster Studio Art Vase Arabia of Finland - Suomi Vintage, Rare, Collectible, 1932- 1949 Mark Mint Condition Up for auction is a beautiful wide-mouthed vase in the mauve and indigo colors of the luster ware produced by the Arabia factory in the late 1920's through the 1930's. A classic well proportioned style, evoking Greek and Roman pottery in mood, but what's really exciting about the luster ware pieces is the delicate iridescent coloration and glass like glaze. The vase tends toward the indigo - pink, vermillion, mauve mix together with gold in delightful iridescent swirls. The vase is 4 inches tall, and the diameter at the largest part is about 4 inches. A nice size for flowers. Condition: Mint - no chips, pinholes, stains, cracks, crazing or repairs, excellent luster. A gorgeous, shiny, hard to find vase that's sure to get a lot of attention wver it goes.
