FROM ESTATE: Vintage & gorgeous, unusual "ARNOLD PALMER" BAIT CAST REEL+ Box & instruction sheet, all still in very good overall condition, with bright red sideplates, double-end finger grip on chromed handle, chromed reel seat, front mounted level-wind mechanism, chromed spool with dampener on left end, and bright chromed small parts. Still in the original & colorful factory cardboard box of 4" across front by 2 3/8 X 2 3/8 high & wide, this gorgeous Arnold Palmer Bait Caster probably dates from the 1950s era and measures about 2 1/4" across the 2 1/8" diameter, red side-plates. Reel features a 1 1/4" wide, chromed spool with brass level wind mechanism in chromed shroud on front. Left sideplate has a gold & black decal reading "Arnold Palmer" of course, while the left side-plate has the standard "Condition is excellent still and little, if ever, actually used. There are NO dings, dents, boat rash, corrosion, or other problems noted, but this beauty is missing two (2) small screws on right side or the reel foot at base of the sideplate. Easily replaced of course, these missing screws account for why this little red bait Caster was set aside long ago we'd guess.(See Photos) Box is old and has same picture & title on top and all four (4) sides reading: "Arnold Palmer" ... "Level Wind" ... "Bait Cast Reel" ... "by Famous Keystone" . read more
