Oranges Sugar box with tongs lid This is a lovely sugar box decorated in oranges pattern. It dates from 1931 and is in stunning unused condition - the lid is a little tarnished, but bar that it appear that the box has never been used. The box is 8cms across the shoulders and 10cms tall to the top of the lid. The box is shape 516 and this is impressed on the base as well as the usual Clarice Cliff Wilkinson's backstamp. The oranges and leaves are wonderfully vibrant and the paint work is stunning, the box shows really well as the pattern is repeated on all sides. . A lovely classical shape for Clarice and a rare shape with the great pattern and in perfect condition. Postage UK £6.95 Europe £9.00 Rest of world £14.50
