Here is a very attractive Deco Chrome coffee or tea server with open sugar bowl and lidded creamer on a brushed chrome serving tray. The tray, pot and creamer all have black ribbed bakelite handles and bakelite lid knobs on the pot and creamer. The tray measures 12" edge to edge, 14 1/2" including the handles. The coffeepot is 9 1/2" high and about 3" in diameter. The sugar and creamer are 3 1/2" high. There are some wear marks on the pieces, but nothing very noticeable. A small ding on the base edge of the pot. The only decoration is black banding on the bodies of the pieces. All in all a most interesting set from an unusual source - the pieces were made by Chicago Flexible Shaft Company! (an old Chicago firm begun in 1897). Actually this company was absorbed by Sunbeam Corporation which began to manufacture small appliances with a deco feel to them. When I first saw the set, I expected to see Farber or Chase stamped on the bottoms but items by this maker are probably much more rare. Thanks for looking! If you have questions, just email me.
